If you're interested in working together, please reach out to schedule a complimentary 15-minute consultation. This initial conversation allows us to discuss your needs, answer questions, and determine whether my practice is the right fit for you.

The first few sessions are focused on getting to know you and developing a deeper understanding of your concerns, goals, relationships, and personal history. Together, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain from the process, and begin identifying areas of focus for our work together.

Therapy is a collaborative process, and we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable while working toward meaningful and lasting change.

I offer in-person sessions in both Manhattan and in Suffolk County, Long Island, as well as virtual sessions via telehealth.

The frequency, length, and timing of sessions are tailored to each client's individual needs, treatment goals, and schedule.

The length of therapy varies from person to person and depends on your individual goals, needs, and circumstances.

Some individuals seek support around a specific challenge or life transition and may work together for a shorter period of time. Others choose longer-term therapy to gain deeper insight, address longstanding patterns, or continue personal growth. We will regularly assess progress and collaborate on a treatment plan that best supports your goals.

When appropriate and with written consent, I am happy to collaborate with other professionals involved in care, including physicians, psychiatrists, dietitians, school personnel, learning specialists, and other treatment providers.

Collaboration can help ensure continuity of care and provide a more comprehensive understanding of your needs and goals.

For adolescent clients, I believe parents and caregivers can play an important role in the therapeutic process. The level of parent involvement varies depending on the age, needs, and goals of the adolescent.

While maintaining the privacy necessary for effective treatment, I work collaboratively with families when appropriate to support growth, communication, and progress.

I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly.

However, many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits that can help offset the cost of treatment. I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to learn more about your coverage and reimbursement options.

I am happy to provide a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, if eligible.

Confidentiality is an essential part of the therapeutic relationship. Information shared in therapy is kept private except in circumstances where disclosure is required by law, including situations involving safety concerns or risk of harm to yourself or others.

These limits of confidentiality will be reviewed in greater detail during our initial sessions.
